Features
Cast steel ball valve adopts standard A216 WCB carbon steel integral casting, with uniform internal structure, high pressure resistance and excellent mechanical toughness. It effectively resists pipeline pressure impact, thermal deformation and medium scouring, far exceeding the strength level of ordinary ductile iron valves. Low-temperature LCB material configuration is available to adapt to ultra-low temperature working environments, ensuring no brittle fracture failure.
Equipped with high-precision polished ball core and elastic spring-loaded sealing seat. Soft seal version achieves complete zero leakage and excellent sealing stability; upgraded metal hard seal structure adapts to high temperature, high pressure and particle-containing media. Bidirectional equal pressure bearing design eliminates flow direction restriction, facilitating on-site pipeline installation and layout.
Built-in anti-static device conducts static electricity generated by friction between ball core and sealing seat to avoid static explosion risk of flammable media such as natural gas and oil. API 607 fire-safe structure adopts graphite auxiliary sealing, which can maintain basic sealing performance under high-temperature fire conditions, meeting strict safety standards of petrochemical and gas transmission projects.
Full-bore ball valve realizes straight-through pipeline with almost no flow resistance, ensuring maximum medium transmission efficiency and reducing pipeline energy consumption. Reduced-bore type features compact structure and cost advantage, suitable for general flow regulation and cut-off working conditions. 90-degree quick switching realizes fast opening and closing, improving pipeline operation efficiency.
Floating ball structure is suitable for medium and low pressure working conditions with flexible operation and low torque; trunnion mounted ball structure adapts to large-diameter and high-pressure heavy-duty pipelines with stable bearing and long service life. Working Principle & Application Notes
Cast steel ball valve drives the spherical core to rotate 90 degrees through handle or actuator to realize pipeline opening, closing and flow regulation. When the ball hole is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is fully open for smooth medium circulation; when rotated 90 degrees, the solid spherical surface completely blocks the flow channel to realize tight cut-off. The spring seat automatically compensates sealing clearance caused by pressure and temperature changes to ensure long-term stable sealing. Soft seal type is prohibited for ultra-high temperature and hard particle media; particle scouring working conditions must select metal hard seal configuration.
