Features
Internal straight-through flow passage minimizes pressure drop with nearly no flow dead zone, suitable for cut-off service for medium transmission pipelines. Full-bore version enables pipeline pigging operation; reduced-bore version features compact overall dimension and competitive cost for general isolating conditions.
Jis gate valve adopts flexible or solid wedge self-sealing construction, which compensates sealing clearance caused by medium pressure and thermal deformation. Wedge and seat surface overlaid with hard alloy delivers high hardness and anti-scouring property. Bidirectional bubble-tight sealing complies with JIS B2003 leakage requirements for reliable shut-off under full-closed position.
Built-in precision back-seal assembly prevents medium intrusion into packing chamber, protects stem and packing from fluid erosion and extends service life. Multi-layer flexible graphite or PTFE packing provides stable sealing under variable temperature-pressure conditions. Rising-stem variant displays opening-closing status visibly; non-rising-stem saves installation height for buried pipelines and compact cabin layout.
Designed and manufactured according to JIS B2073 / B2083. Face-to-face dimensions follow JIS B2002; flange dimensions conform to JIS B2220. Shell, back-seal and seat leakage tests are performed strictly per JIS B2003. Fully interchangeable with original Japanese-supplied valves for local and Southeast-Asian projects.

Working Principle & Application Notes
Jis gate valve realizes pipeline fluid isolation via vertical lifting motion of wedge gate. When fully open, wedge retracts completely out of flow path for negligible pressure loss; when fully closed, wedge contacts seat tightly to block medium flow. Jis gate valve is intended for full-open / full-closed isolation only, strictly prohibited for throttling or flow regulation duties. Long-term partial opening will generate high-velocity medium scouring and result in sealing-surface damage and internal leakage. For seawater or sour-H₂S containing fluids, special corrosion-resistant material upgrade shall be specified. Please provide K-rating, nominal size (A-size), working temperature, medium property and actuation type for correct valve selection prior to order placement.
