Features
The internal flow channel is straight through with almost no flow dead zone and extremely low fluid resistance. It is the preferred cut-off valve for long-distance fluid transmission pipelines. Full-bore type ensures unobstructed pipeline passage, convenient for pipeline pigging and cleaning; reduced-bore type features compact structure and lower cost for general cut-off working conditions.
Metal seated gate valve adopts flexible or solid wedge self-sealing structure, which can automatically compensate sealing gap caused by medium pressure and temperature deformation. The valve seat and wedge surface are overlaid with Stellite cobalt-based hard alloy, featuring high hardness, anti-scouring and anti-abrasion performance. Bidirectional sealing meets API 598 leakage standard, realizing reliable zero leakage in full closed state.
Built-in precision back seal structure effectively prevents medium from penetrating into the packing chamber, protects packing and stem from erosion, and extends service life. Multi-layer flexible graphite packing is adopted for stable sealing under high temperature and high pressure. The rising stem design clearly displays opening stroke; non-rising stem saves installation space for buried pipeline projects.
Designed and manufactured in full compliance with API 600 and ASME B16.34 standards. Face-to-face dimensions follow ASME B16.10, flange dimensions comply with ASME B16.5, and welding ends meet ASME B16.25. All shell, seal and back seal tests are implemented strictly according to API 598, fully matching international EPC project standard requirements.
Supports multiple actuation modes including manual handwheel, bevel gear, electric and pneumatic operation, adapting to on-site manual adjustment and automatic control system. Various material combinations cover low-temperature, normal-temperature, high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions. NACE MR0175 anti-sulfur version can be customized for H₂S sour service.

Working Principle & Application Notes
Metal seated gate valve controls pipeline fluid on-off through vertical lifting of wedge gate. When fully open, the gate completely exits the flow channel with almost no pressure loss; when fully closed, the wedge fits tightly with the seat to block medium flow. Metal seated gate valve is only suitable for full open or full closed cut-off working conditions, strictly prohibited for flow regulation and throttling service. Long-term micro opening will cause high-speed medium scouring on the sealing surface and lead to seal damage. For sour H₂S-containing media, NACE anti-sulfur material upgrade is required. Please provide pressure class, working temperature, medium property and actuation mode for accurate sizing before ordering.
