Structural Feature	Wafer triple offset butterfly valve adopts compact wafer sandwiched-mount structure and unique three-eccentric spatial geometric design. It eliminates disc-seat friction throughout full opening-closing stroke for zero-wear operation. Conical metal-to-metal sealing pair delivers automatic pressure self-tightening compensation to achieve stable bidirectional zero-leakage under fluctuating pressure. The slim wafer-style body is clamped between two pipe flanges by full-length through bolts. Light-weight and space-saving structure, without integrated threaded lugs. Full-metal hard-sealing construction resists high-temperature, cryogenic, high-pressure and fine-particle erosion, avoiding soft-seal aging and deformation failure. Compact body design ensures stable long-cycle continuous operation for general industrial piping.

1.Compact Wafer Sandwiched Installation, Cost-Effective

Slim wafer-type body without built-in threaded lugs, installed by long stud-bolts passing through two pipe flanges to clamp the valve in-between. Light-weight structure saves installation space and overall project cost compared with lug or flanged versions. Simple centering-clamping mounting procedure fits for standard ANSI and DIN flange mating. Note: wafer type must be clamped by double-side flanges; cannot be used for blind-end isolation or unilateral pressure-bearing service.

2.Zero-Friction Triple Offset Wear-Free Structure

Three-dimensional triple-offset geometry separates butterfly disc from seat surface at initial opening stroke, realizing zero-contact and friction-free full-stroke movement. No abrasive wear upon metal sealing surfaces, overcoming short-service-life weakness of conventional soft-seal and double-offset butterfly valves. Precisely machined conical sealing interface achieves progressive locking on closure with uniform stress distribution and good pressure-shock resistance.

3.Bidirectional Zero-Leakage Metal Hard Sealing

All-metal hard-seal assembly with optional Stellite alloy hard-facing treatment for seat face. Rising medium pressure generates self-tightening compensation force to offset thermal distortion and mechanical clearances. Sealing performance meets API 598 Class VI bidirectional bubble-tight shut-off. Maintains reliable tightness under high-temperature, high-pressure and pressure-surge conditions, far superior to ordinary soft-seal butterfly valves.

4.Ultra-Wide Temperature-Pressure Adaptability

Diversified material selections cover working conditions from cryogenic-196℃ up to 500℃. Carbon-steel, stainless-steel and alloy-steel bodies adapt to steam, oil-gas, corrosive and cryogenic liquefied media. Optimized slim-body casting enhances structural rigidity against thermal expansion-contraction deformation for general industrial continuous-operation environments.

Working Principle & Application Notes

Wafer triple offset butterfly valve adopts worm-gear / electric / pneumatic / hydraulic actuator to drive 90-degree rotation of butterfly disc. Unique triple-offset geometry guarantees friction-free opening-closing movement. At fully closed position, conical metal sealing pair locks tightly with self-tightening compensation to block medium flow and realize bidirectional zero leakage; at fully-opened position, streamlined disc forms low-resistance straight-through flow-passage. Wafer type relies entirely on two mating pipe flanges for clamping support; it cannot bear unilateral pressure and is forbidden for pipeline terminal blind-end service. System must be fully shut-down and both-side flanges disassembled for valve removal or replacement. Stellite hard-facing is recommended for particle-containing and high-scouring media; cryogenic working scenarios shall adopt LCB low-temperature steel. Confirm pressure class, body material and actuation mode before ordering.
