Features
Three-dimensional offset design separates butterfly disc from seat surface from the very start of opening stroke, realizing complete non-contact and friction-free operation over full travel. No abrasive wear upon metal sealing surfaces, overcoming the short-service-life drawback of conventional soft-seal and double-offset butterfly valves. Precisely machined conical sealing interface achieves progressive locking upon closure with uniform stress distribution and outstanding resistance against pressure impact.
All-metal hard-seal assembly with optional Stellite hard-facing treatment for seat face. Rising medium pressure generates self-tightening compensation force to offset thermal distortion and mechanical clearances. Sealing performance meets API 598 Class VI bidirectional bubble-tight shut-off. Maintains reliable tightness under high-temperature, high-pressure and pressure-surge conditions, far superior to ordinary soft-seal butterfly valves.
Diversified material selections cover working conditions from cryogenic-196℃ up to 500℃. Carbon-steel, stainless-steel and alloy-steel bodies adapt to steam, oil-gas, corrosive and cryogenic liquefied media. Robust valve-body construction withstands thermal expansion-contraction deformation, applicable for complex harsh continuous-operation environments.

Working Principle & Application Notes
Metal seated triple offset butterfly valve utilizes worm-gear / electric / pneumatic / hydraulic actuator to drive 90-degree rotation of butterfly disc. Unique triple-offset geometry guarantees friction-free opening-closing movement. At fully closed position, conical metal sealing pair locks tightly with self-tightening compensation to block medium flow and realize bidirectional zero leakage; at fully-opened position, streamlined disc forms low-resistance straight-through flow-passage. Select proper end-connection form according to actual piping design: lug type supports unilateral pressure-bearing and blind-end isolation; butt-weld type needs professional on-site welding work and is not fit for frequent disassembly. Stellite hard-facing is strongly recommended for erosion-prone particle-containing media; cryogenic working scenarios shall adopt LCB low-temperature steel. Confirm pressure class, body material, end connection and actuation mode before order placement.
