Features

Pilot-operated two-valve structure

Consists of main valve and pilot safety valve. The pilot valve senses system pressure to control opening & closing of main valve. High action precision and good repeatability.

Full-lift large discharge capacity

Opens fully with small overpressure, large relief capacity, suitable for large-flow gas /liquid over-pressure protection.

Excellent back-pressure resistance

Performance is barely affected by outlet back-pressure; suitable for systems with high back-pressure conditions.

Good tight-sealing performance

Allows working pressure close to set pressure; fast re-seating, tight shut-off after repeated popping-up.

On-line adjustment available

Set pressure can be adjusted on-site without removing the valve from pipeline; easy maintenance.

Working condition

Applicable temperature ≤200℃; flange connection DN25-DN200, PN16-PN160.

Limitation：Requires correct installation of pilot-connecting pipeline, pipeline blockage will affect valve performance.

A46Y pilot safety valve is used for positive pressure systems with temperature ≤200°C. When system pressure exceeds set value, the pilot valve acts first to open the main valve for medium relief. When pressure drops back to allowable value, the valve closes automatically to protect equipment and pipelines. A46Y pilot safety valve suitable for working conditions with high back-pressure and large-flow relief requirements.
